Mena Ruparel is an experienced family solicitor, family arbitrator, associate lecturer and experienced trainer.
Mena qualified as a solicitor in 1999, since 2003 she has worked as a freelance speaker for CLT, presenting CPD courses and webinars on divorce and financial remedy proceedings.
Mena is a Resolution accredited specialist, her areas of specialism are financial proceedings and advocacy in financial proceedings. She currently works as a Consultant; she has a caseload of divorce and financial remedy cases.
Mena qualified as an Arbitrator in 2012, she was the first Asian Arbitrator to qualify under the IFLA scheme. She has appeared on the radio discussing the use of family Arbitration and family law issues generally.
Mena has had a number of articles published for the Solicitor’s Journal, Resolution and a number of other publications.
In 2014 Mena was appointed a committee member to the Law Society’s family law committee.
In January 2016, Mena was appointed the Chief Assessor of the Law Society’s family law and family law advanced accreditation schemes. She was also appointed Chief Examiner for the CILEx level 6 Family Law exam.
